How do you remove the secondary if you don't have a holding tool.
I found some info somewhere that said if I set the parking brake it should come off easy...I don't think so.

If it is possible to remove it with out some kind of device to hold it steady, please advise.

I am attempting to install the SBM stage II kit on my own.
Also, how do you align the belt at the top of the sheaves.

Thanks,

Matt

If the parking brake wont hold the secondary from spinning while removing the bolt, I use a large strap wrench around the end cap to hold it. An impact wrench will make removing the secondary bolt really easy.

The parking brake should hold the jackshaft in place so you can remove the bolt, if not try also holding the brake leaver at the same time.

You add/remove shims to adjust the belt height.
