So if all titanium pipes crack then why does both my 06 Attaks still have the Ti pipes with no cracks? Have install new donuts to both sleds. One has over 6500 miles on it. Seems your statement has some flaws besides spelling.

Your not rideing it hard enough and 6500 is borrowed time by the time you replace the donuts the second time they almost always have a bad flange or two. the ss pipes are proven to be better even yamaha excepts this for tears now thats why they dont offer the ti pipes anymore. too many YES cliams on them.

I've never been told i dont ride hard enough. I've had several friends stop riding with me as they don't like the pace I lead them at. The donuts were just replaced at 6000 miles for the first time, I don't plan on having this sled long enough to worry about the donuts again. The donuts i use are the OEM ones with the stainless bolt. I've seen several damaged y pipes on friends sleds and to me it seems what causes the damage is when the donut fails and the donut clamp starts rotating/vibrating on the flange and wears it thin to where it breaks or creates a hole.
