Not sure. I know it is a cut track. It looks like someone has done a skid set back. Any idea what track that is or who made the rail extensions?

You might want to consider Hygear torsion spring savers and extra idler wheels near the rail extensions.

I was reading up on the torsion spring savers. They look like an interesting add on.You might want to consider Hygear torsion spring savers and extra idler wheels near the rail extensions.

What is the advantage of the extra idler wheels? More support?

The extra idlers save your hyfax and also give you easier rolling do to less friction. This in turn gives you better performance.
The skid definitely has a set back that is different from where an MTX would mount up. You can see the approach is much more gradual (not as steep) and the front of the rails tip up pretty high off the track. I'd like to see a photo of the drivers ... I'm curious to know if they're stock or anti-ratchets. Also, it would be interesting to know if the chaincase gearing is stock or if it too has been changed. Anyway, it looks like a nicely set up Phazer, should be a pretty good combination on/off trail sled in that set up. Hope you see snow soon so you can start enjoying it!

Yes, look at the custom triangular brackets in his pictures that set the skid back from the torsion spring arms. Cool. I know it has been geared lowered. Not sure what the skid is. Track length is over 150".

I hadn't noticed the custom mounting brackets for the rear skid. Looks like 150 inch track fits under an MTX tunnel extension ... that is if the bumper hasn't been stretched. Track looks ported too. Wonder what else has been done to this sled?

Looks like a 151 (or longer) setback with a 144 skid (stock 144 or extensions, same result). Very common. Looks like there are lots of ways to do it.

Well it is supposed to arrive tomorrow.
The owner managed to put the factory exhaust back on it.
