On my 07 apex i put the hauck exhaust and the 162 power claw track, and now i keep hitting my rev limiter. It doesnt hit in the really deep powder but pack snow or sometimes a little deeper snow but it kills my power. I ride between 8000-10000 ft. What is the best thing to do? :yam:

I think you could change rivets in primery weights? Cheap and it problably will help?

I did change gearing in mine from 22/40 to 20/40 and than i hit limiter sometimes to, but now i change track from OEM Maverick to Challanger Extreme so i think it will pick it down a little, in my primary weights there is already heaviest rivets from the beginning..

BTW, i run Pioneer Performance Secondary Composite roller. works nice!

i am having the same problem and you think that changing the clutch weights will help i am running a glasspack exhaust, holz skid and maverick track

change the spring position on your secondary is what i was told to do  mammila is playing with his maybe he will ring in with a correction after he is done riding today

Man go with the power claw track it is amazing and i moved my secondary spring from position 6 to 9.

I run mine "on the chip" all the time. Doesnt hurt anything and I've never noticed it killing the power. Just lets you know your at 11,200 rpm.

If it only hits it in certain snow conditions I really wouldnt worry about it. Eric
