Welt, I just had bruce do mine and he put the 5.5 on mine too along with the revalve. I am 200lbs dressed. How did this work mod for you? Thanks Honk

Pioneer did mine. It made a big difference. Gives the sled an "m-10" feel, without losing the top speed and spending the big money

Without a doubt one of the best things you can do for your mono suspension. The vevalve will keep things soft on top and more aggressive further into the stroke. It is a great feel.
I had MCR http://www.mcrsuspension.com do mine, but only because they are an hour away from me so I could get my shock back right away. Otherwise I would use Pioneer.

Mine will be going out to Pioneer in the next few weeks as well.

I had the revalve (Pioneer) on my GT all last year, it really rode quite well, and nevewr bottomed. I had the shock rebuilt this summer with a 6.2 spring for the increased leverage of the 136 stretch job. Bruces work is great.

Are you guys sending the spring with the shock? I don't have a spring compressor so if I send it to Pioneer it will go with the stock spring?

I have the HYGEAR trailpro package. I can't wait to see!

Saw sales, Just take the spring off by turning the two nuts off. really easy, and you will only be paying more for the added weight. No need for a spring compressor. Honk

I sent the spring on the shock complete. He put it back on too. I would recommend that you tape over both ends to protect bears during transit. Besure you tell him your DRESSED weight and a REALISTIC way you ride & what problems you have or don't have. I did not end up with heavier spring even though I was on the edge. When he was doing the Vipers back in 2002/2003, people told him they were big ditch bangers and he got the shocks too stiff (still way better than the original ones) He can only work with what you tell him.
I just got mine back on Friday. About 1 1/2 weeks total with freight time to midwest. You might get on the stick if you want it for winter, as I am sure everybody will wait till Dec 1 and expect it back in 2 days. Won't happen.
