I have a 06 Vector & I would like to remove the reverse set-up
& the chain case cover so that I could inspect the gears & bearings.
Is there any short cuts that I could take. If someone has done this
before could they steer me in the right direction. When I remove these
2 parts is there any things that I need to replace because of this.

There are 5 blots that hold on the cover take them off, then there is a samll one in the middle of the cover. Take the set screw off the top shaft. After that you will need to unhook the reverse linkage. Then work off the cover it will take some work. O almost forgot about the break take the two bolts out and take it off, then get the sap ring off the shaft that the rotor is on and remover it.

The only thing that I had trouble with is putting the cover back on and getting those reverse forks on. You need to take the lower reverse handle linkage off to make it 100x easier.
