When I took my chain case apart I did not notice if the spring in the reverse gear was in the hole of the other gear. As they looked to be a little bit apart. So does the spring go into the hole in each gear or not.

Thanks Rich

if your talking about the spring that looks like it should be in a ball point pen, then yes it needs to be inside both of those gear holes. I think its to keep them centerd. 150hp and a pen spring to keep a couple of gears from goin'n screwy???

I need a second on this one.

Your dead forever.

Happy thanksgiving if you like to eat.

B.K.

That what the spring is in there for, holding the gears aligned, and the spring do the job very well. My turbo sled have 10000 miles or 16000 kms on it and the little spring is still like new.

my warrior has 2600 miles on it since loosing the spring in Muni and saying F it. LOL

Take a ball pen spring and put in there should work

it has worked just fine as is. Maybe when i open it up again I will think about it, but not until then. LOL
