Very dangerous mod, Did it to my 05 660 Grizz and a couple of times forgot about it and stabbed the throttle in reverse, And I mean to tell you What a F@#$ing wild ride, Thought I was going to die.

That's why I put mine on a switch. I only turn it off when I need to.
