As the title says I'm thinking of doing this as an extra day on our sled trip.
We usually stay a night in North Bay, but I was thinking we could say 2 nights there and do the RAN loop the one day and see some new sights.
The route I have made is start in North bay, then to Vermer, Key River, and Nipissing all for gas, then home. Should be enough stops for the small nytro gas tank. 400km total.
Who's done it? Is it a long day of riding for 1 day? 9am-5pm type of deal? We usually do around 300km a day on the RAP tour so I'm just curious.
Any stories/suggestions are good for food/stops etc

Its been 7years since i have been up there, but i believe there is plenty of stops for fuel on all of the loops out of north bay, well worth staying the extra day.

Nope I couldn't convince any of my riding buddies to commit. Maybe this year if we get some snow! ha

Doing it in one day would be a long haul, there are a few things to definitely stop and see like the french and pickerel river bridges. If the trails are fast though it might not be too bad.

If the trails are in great shape easy to do in a longer day. There is so many neat sideshoot trails and the bridges to see that making her a two day trip is well worth it.
