I have a 07' Apex RTX and am interested in putting a 3.5" Rox pivoting riser on it just wondering what kinda cable extensions I should get and wondering how difficult it is to install the extensions ?

I dont think you need any with that but you will have to un hook the cable from the steering ring.

I have that riser on my 07 Attak, I put the mountain cable on, it is about an inch and half longer. The stock cable was a little short when the bars were turned to lock position. Putting on the cable as I recall was straight forward and not to much of a pain.

I've got a Mtn. throttle cable, parking brake cable, and brake line. I only used the throttle and park cables. Let me know if you want the cable/s. I've removed them as the sled is for sale. Actually I've got the Rox adapter and riser as well, if insterested. I beleive it is the taller riser, it puts the bars at the same height as the Mtn riser, but allows you to pivot which I preffered over the Mtn. riser. Much more comfortable for turns. Either way I think the Mtn. cable was only $20-$30, not to bad. Much better than going with extensions.

i have the rox riser, it will work with standard cables... although i had a few slight issues with tors kicking in, instead of messing with it, i just put on the mountain cable, no more issues. cheap fix, cable not so strained as the stock one.

I had the Rox Apex Adapter and the 5" pivioting riser. Looked really sharp. Plus with the pivot option you can get a much better ergo. IMO If you go more than one inch above the stock I would, I know some are going two+ but for fourty-bucks, twenty if you just get the throttle cable. I just think it beats having the chance of tors issues on the trail.

I AGREE WITH ABOVE.
I ALSO HAVE THE ROX 5" PIVOT, WORKS GREAT ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE OVER 5'10".

I put the mountain riser on mine last season and love it. Never had to do anything with the cables. Now if I tried the Rox I may like that even more. I'm 5'10 and have no issues standing with the mountain riser. Gt it on here for 50.00 from another TYer
