I was wondering if any company out there sells a complete riser set-up?
I have a 2006 Apex and am looking for another 4" on top of what I already have. Personally, I would want to buy all the cable extensions and risers from the same place to ensure that what I get is what I need. Kind of like getting a turbo kit instead of buying all the separate pieces from many manufactures.
Thanks

Why do you need cable extensions? Usually all you need to do is re-route the cables. The key is to re-route al the cables to underneath the bar. With that move alone you can go to as high of a riser as any of the manufacturers I've heard of sell. I had a Lake Effect riser on mine with the 2 3/4" adapter plus 7 inch bones. That's a 9 3/4" rise. I actually have since went shorter, but it can be done without any cable extensions.
We have a few sellers right here on TY who make great risers. Superman owns Lake Effect. Arteeex owns North Coast Innovations (NCI), and Gade Thrasher owns Muffin Works. All 3 are site supporters and all 3 make awesome risers.

We (Muffin Works) can provide you with a riser kit. Our tallest setup is an 8" riser ... with our adapter block it results in a total of about 10" of rise when measured from the top of the steering post. The best part about our design is that it has a 7-position positive locking mechanism which prevents any unwanted movement of the riser. Movement of the riser is fairly common with a riser of this height. Our adapter block also lets you retain use of the stock chrome trim ring.
We have been an advertiser and supporter of TY since 2006.
Sorry - we don't provide any cable extensions.

get any risers you want but you will need extensions and just get the apex mtn stock ones they work great and better quality then the other companys throttle extensions and when you go that high your parkingbrake cable gets pretty tight also. and you can get the apex mtn cables at any yamaha dealership easy enough!

Before you go buy cables, try re routing them. My stock cables were plenty, and I went way higher than most. Just my $.02

I went through the exact same thing you did last year. I know what you need and can tell you where to find the stuff... I may even have an extra 8" longer throttle cable and Apex MTX brake line laying around in the garage. The risers are the most expensive thing. I think I was able to buy the longer throttle cable and brake line for a mear $30 a piece. My personal opinion is to do it right and get the longer cables to prevent a tors issue. I had 4.5" risers added to my stock Apex GT riser. I loved the rise.
One word of advice, never go with the powermad throttle extender. They are a pain to work with and kink the cable. It set tors off in a parking lot once and I damn near hit a car.
