I rode with a 800 Rmk this week-end. This thing is pretty light when stuck compare to my RX-1.
But it's burn gaz at an incredible speed
For what i see, he did'nt climb really more than my sled, trench less sure, but, when it's time to get stuck, we are dead even. But how easy is to get unstuck with an Rmk.
We take a Drag on lake, with MM700, Vector mountain and RMK and my RX-1. For what i know of this drag, i start last, they didnt wait for me to took off, i start almost at the same time of the 800, i pull on all 700 like they were on reverse, i catch the 800 at about 80 km/h and finish first.
Now, buddy say that the RMK start after all of us, if else i could'nt have beat him.
Question, is a stock clutching RX-1 mountain is able to really beat a RMK 800 151 ?
By the way, on flat, the Vector is the better sled on powder that day, about a good 3 feet deep with 2 feet base. This motor has way too much torque to not be smiling
, it's pull so hard at low speed, but with no punch, only steady pulling. Seriously, it's better on flat in deep than MM700 , RX-1 M and RMK, but get a good hill, hum weight start to pull it downward
With my RX-1 in deep this Day, better to be polite with throttle on start-up, it's a real trench digger. Good enough to be presented on MONSTER MACHINE on DISCOVERY Channel
But very proud of performance i got all day long with my new 05 Ski, Anti-Ratchet, and Riser.

From my experience my RX is about even with the 800 doo (ZX) and 800 Polaris. I have not ridden with any 800 doo-revs yet, but the other 800s are about even.

So, Mr. Tundra, what if that Vector Mountain had a turbo?

It should be a blast.
I wish that our RX-RS mountain didnt collect that much snow in the rear, that the only reason why the sled trench more and more more , more the day is going.
I hope i would be able to take an other run with the RMK, and maybe find someone who would clutch my sled

yeah a stock RX1 should be able to take an 800. I can take an RMK 800 with the 159 pretty easily. I figure a 151 would be a little more of a fight, but the RX should still take it

I raced an 800 RMK last year. We climbed almost 2000 vertical feet in something over a mile and a half full WOT over wind drifts the whole way. This guy is a very good rider, and fearless, but he could not keep up. I was already on top shut down with my pack off digging for a sandwich when he showed.
I think the advantage may have been the weight of my sled! We were both getting launched off of each drift, but I was able plow through the drifts more while he was really getting bucked around.
Both machines were stock 151.
This guy is very respectful of the RX-1 now!
