Just wondering if there are any solutions to help reduce the steepness of the track approach angle. I have an 06' Attak with floats up front, Mnt Skis, and a Yamaha fully clipped 1.5"x136" Mnt style track. I use it to off-trail ride mostly in Michigan. Just can't seem to get it to work in the deeper snow nearly as well as my Rengade could. It has the Mono syspension as well.I thought about stretching to a 144" but I'm afraid that I still won't get on top due to the steep track angle. I'd be open to suspension replacement if it would help. If I don't get this resolved, i regretfully will have to look into a different brand of cross-over sled. I really love the 4 stroke motor, but this set-up aint makin' it.
Thanks in advance!

Been looking but don't think anything is available. Wondering if the EazyRide suspension would shallow up that approach angle. Does anyone know what the stock angle is... in degrees? Going to try and call the boyz at EazyRide and see what they think!
I can't remember the exact name but advid make sa different chaincase I beleive it's around 800.00's you can run up to a 45t bottom sprocket.I forgot how degree angle difference the track is.
If you contact Avid I believe they do have the parts to relocate the chain case but the new chaincase, if you don't mind the price, is the way to go they have some pics of one of there sleds with the chaincase and the approach angle is awesome definately worth the money.

Thanks, Avid is on the top of my list for "things to do tomarrow". Wonder if there are any negative effects on this chassis when the chaincase is lowered. Like the front drive axtle bottoming out on large bumps? Just want to cover all the bases. Getting the approach angle less steep should help get the sled on top of the snow much better, shouldn't it?

Cross Fire skid did the trick for me. I did it to decrease the approach angle and improve the ride.......it has done both very very well. Also lost 15+ pounds in the process (the sled, not me
). I'm still doing a bit of tuning, but I highly recommend this mod.
