Does anyone have a roller secondary clutch like the ones sold by Mountain Performance or Pioneer Performance on their 03 RX-1? If you do, could you comment on how well it performs? A roller secondary clutch seems like a really good idea, rollers to take the load rather than some small plastic buttons. I would think there would be a noticeable difference in upshifting and backshifting. Thanks!

I have a Max Performance roller on my Rage. It is almost exactly the same as Pioneer's. I like it as it seems to allow a better up and down shift. The rollers are plastic and replacable at a reasonable price. The Pioneer and Max use the same rollers so if you do locate a used Max. I think you can also interchange the helix too. I have a HiMark roller on my 700 Vmax and it did the same for that. I like them, they work pretty good. I think any roller secondary will help you, some more than others, maybe.
