Hey guys, does anyone know where i can track down some rotrex oil for my MPI supercharger? time for an oil change but having trouble tracking this expensive nectar down!! thanks in advance!
 

You need to sell a kidney to do a rotrex oil change! Has MPI stopped selling it? My last oil change I sent in a sample in to have it analyzed to see what was in it. Reported as 60 weight gear lube with a high concentration of Sulphur and blue dye.

How often do you change your rotrex oil? I have had this sled for 3 years and have not changed it yet. wondering if it really breaks down that fast and how often a change is really required.

Considering the price we pay for sleds and aftermarket parts its a drop in the bucket. $100 a year is better then a $1500 charger.

Where did you find it in Canada? checked out a couple american sites and they want $25 to ship it just in the states! $60 to canada!

Not sure of the difficulty getting it in Canada but MPI sells the stuff for $59.99 in the states. Comes in a ~12-16 oz bottle

16oz is less then half a litre so $99 for a litre is still on top. $139 cdn is probably the cheapest option for us when you consider shipping ,conversion and brokerage from the USA.

Isn't it good to 50,000 miles or something crazy like that? I never change mine, I check it but its always clean. There was a issues with the SC apex a long time ago where they could suck in water and get milky but once you moved the vent tube that stopped. Just make sure it looks good and leave it alone in my opinion.
