I recently dissassembled my carbs to clean and at the same time, added the new QC-1 exhaust. Now when the sled runs, it has a bad idle and wants to backfire everytime you give it gas. I'm focusing on what was changed and was thinking about tearing back into the carbs to ensure the jets were seeded properly and everything else is okay. I even tried to synch the carbs but it runs no better while adjusting the synch screws. Not sure what could of been installed wrong but it is definitely running lean. Pilot screws are stock 2 turns out. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

check your tors . also check the throttle cable at the handlebars under the pad. it can come out when you unhook it from carbs and activate tors.

Just goes to show you that you should never under estimate the little stuff. One other thing I did do but didn't mention was installed 1.5" risers. To do so, I had the handle bar assembly apart. The throttle cable did come out but I thought I installed it properly. I will take a closer look at it and the throttle switch to ensure everything is correct. Thanks for everyones input. ;)!

I added a 2 incher and am now patiently awaiting the arrival of a mountain cable from MPI.

Update: It was the TORS activating due to the throttle cable not being properly seeded into the handle bar switch.
