I have an 09 nytro mtx and i was wondering what rpm should i stay at climbing a hill it only has 80 miles on it but it sucks climbing hills in the powder it just doesn't feel like it is full throttle.

Thanks man. I also was wondering when i went on my first ride no body told me about breaking in I let it idle for 10-15 min before riding and climbed some hills and of course full throttle but was not beating the crap out of it. Do i need to be more carefull i now have 90 miles on it. or what are your ideas for break-in procedure?Idaho Nytro said:Im not sure what rpms you should be pulling, but as you put more miles on it will loosen up.
man thats what I thought how long did it take for your r's to get where they need to be. The reason I ask is friday went to franklin basin, utah with 2 feet of fluff and it just did not seem like it was full throttle when iot was there seems like there needed to be more.nate007 said:Most of us say to ride it like it'll be ridden. I run mine hard right out of the box, and mine have run just a little harder than those that have been broken in easy..
Drive it like ya stole it!!
I dont know much about clutching but what would you recommend?Turk said:You want to see 87-8900 rpm at wide open throttle. the stock 4 stroke weights don,t backshift well in deep snow; espcially at altitude.
Hey I was gonna ask you what track did you go with?Idaho Nytro said:Im not sure what rpms you should be pulling, but as you put more miles on it will loosen up.
The challenger extreme or just the challenger?Idaho Nytro said:Hey I was gonna ask you what track did you go with?
I put a challenger on it.
