Does anyone know if a seat from a 2006 RS Nytro will bolt onto the 2005 RS Rage tunnel. I really love the Rage but I'd like to stretch my knees a little more on the longer rides. If so, are there any other issues I need to be aware of like the handlebars too low?

Yeah, they will fit. May need to trim the tank shroud.
But, If you are ambitious and like to tinker you can take your seat and add foam to it. I just did mine and it helped immensely! I added 5 inches of foam and was able to reuse the original seat cover.

Not only will it fit, but it is one of the best upgrades in my opinion. You will need to trim the tank shroud and then it's a bolt on. There are many threads outlining the process, so do some searches. Lots of help on the job. If you decide to do it and get a seat and need a paper template for cutting the shroud, let me know.
And yes, you'll want to do something with the bar if you do the seat.

Thanks guys. Can you tell me how much I can raise the handlebars without changing cables or controls, and what I would use for a riser.

Plenty of info on this subject as well. You can typically raise the bar 2" without altering any cables. The E brake cable is the first one to get taunt.

When I added an Apex Mountain seat to my Rage I think that the seat was approx 4" taller than my stock seat. It think the 06/07 Nytro and Apex Mountain seat have similar if not the same foam in them. It kind of depends on were you want your bars to be. you really can only go with a 2" riser with stock cables and brake hose. The 2" riser may not be enough to fully stand up which you want to to do with the new seat. It is so easy to transition from sitting to standing you are going to want to do it all the time. If you want to go higher with the bars than 2" you should go with longer cables and brake hose. Search posts under my name as there are all kinds of info on this with part numbers and prices. G.B.
