Rs rage, track swap????

2005 rs rage, 136" 2.52pitch.

Got a line on a like new 137x 2.86 track....cheap.

Are 2.86 drivers available for my sled? And will 1 5/8" clear? This is one of the tracks with build in studs...

a 137" will be to long in your 136" skid. Not sure what mods you would have to do to deal with the extra 1".
One inch does not seem like a lot but when trying to tighten the track it will be a lot.

if the drivers are the same size or slightly larger than stock, it could work. might need one size larger rear axle wheels if you cannot adjust it to proper tension. did this on frankensled when it ran with 153" nitro mtx track with skid set up for 151" 2.52 track.

would a composit track the right size/pitch not be easyer?
