Just put a set of these skis on my sled. The sled was harder to turn before now it is difficult, these skis have alot of bite to them. When I am going slower it is harder to steer, when I am driving faster it is a little easier to steer. The skis are setup in the center hole on the USI ski mount. I have moved the ski mount to one hole behind the center hole and lubricated all the linkages for the steering. Does anyone know if there are any grease fittings for the steering? I cannot locate any, however there is a linkage near the front, under the hood that I can see some grease peaking out, so I think there has to be a fitting somewhere. My wife would like to ride it sometime but there is no way she could steer it the way it is. Any other suggestions on how to get the steering to be easier.

I always found my RS nytro alittle hard to steer until this winter when I turned up the spring compression on the center shock. I am still about 1/2 inch short of the max. adjustment as listed in the manual. Steering effort has been greatly reduced with little loss of front end bite. As well, I get less nose dive under braking and the rear suspension feels like its stroking more fully.

I have USI skis on my 05 Warrior and I like them. I went with more preload on the front rear shock and less preload or "zero preload" on the front and it helped alot.
-Usi makes a "power steering plate" that basically puts an arch in the ski and therefore make it easier to turn. Check their website. I did not use these.
-I would also lift up the front of the sled and see if everything is turning freely with the skis off the ground.
