I just purchase this summer a Vector RS 2008 with 4500 kilo and a Attak 2006 with 18 000 kilo. Question is : need to only keep one of them .. which one ??? I want something reliable and the one that will cost less in maintenance and both as the same Delta Box II frame. I am not looking for top speed or a performance fanatic ...
- is the 3 cylinder more reliable then the 4 cylinder ???
- Is the 4 cylinder need more maintenance then the 3 cylinder ???
- Is the 4 cylinder a lot more a Gaz guzzler ....
- Is 18 000 kilo a lot for a Attak ...
- Will these engine burn oil eventualy ???
- How much milage these engine are good for ???
Thanks

it all depends on the way you ride the vector is a better trail sled because motor set in the chassis, 18k is not a lot of miles on the motor if you maintain the sled it will last a very long time. the motor 3 or 4 there is no different in the maint. but the way you wrote in your post you will be very happy with the vector

I have both an 06 Attak (12000 miles) and an 08 Vector LTX GT for my wife. The Attak has been very reliable but your riding style would lean me towards the Vec. Quiet, reliable, easy on fuel and little maintenance required.
Good luck

Vector for your riding style Attack would be over kill for you & 3 cylindres use less of everything than 4 holer.

I agree with everyone else. I think for your riding style youd be happier with the vector. If it were me I would have to have the faster sled but thats me. I think from what you said, youd be happier with the vector.
the mileage on either of those sleds is nothing if its been taken care of...
