I have an 05 RS Venture last year I broke two limiter straps on the left side . I can't see any thing wrong under there . This time I am replacing
both of them at the same time . Has any one else had a problem with this ?

The limiter straps only last a season for me (2-3000 miles). They're usually hanging on by a thread at the end of the year. Have replaced them 3 times. Can't see any particular thing that would cause it either. Keep a spare and keep an eye on them.

Theoretically - Not enough rebound dampening in the centre shock could be the cause. Without enough rebound dampening, when the skid returns from compressed it puts a lot of stress on the limiter straps. It could be a blown shock in the front of the skid causing this to happen.
The front limiter strap on the left side of the skid broke on my turbo sled while running the proaction skid with a blown centre shock.

I was thinkin' the shock rebound also. If there is no adjustment, could it be a bad shock?
My straps are 4 years old now. Never had one fail. Could there be a sharp surface close to it?
