Need some advice,
I am not too impressed with the stock skis on the RS Venture, I was plowing snow all day today when I was riding in the powder. No flotation at all.
I am going to put different skis on it, but I am not sure what kind?
I do mostly trail and some powder riding, not too aggressive.
I was thinking about the Yamaha mountain skis which I can get for $200.00 a set out the door.
The Simmons skis I have a few questions about.
1. How wide is the Simmons ski? is it dual runner? and what is the approx cost?
Which would be a better ski for powder and which would be a overall better ski?
any input would be appreciated

Simmons are 7" wide, dual bar. They are excellent in the deep AND on the trails. The dual bar design eliminates darting and greatly improves front end stability.
I don't know too much about the Yamaha mountain skis.
