The only place I can find any info about this sled is on yamaha.ca. Can you buy this sled in the U.S.? Any one know who might carry this model? Last of all, what the TF stand for? 151" track, x-tra wide skiis, color is silver, sounds interesting.

TF Ventures are a Canada and Europe-only model. Differences from regular RS Venture include wider skis, different keel, longer track, and an articulating rear skid (detailed first in patent #6161908, 1999).
Basically a Venture equipped a little better for deep snow.
[edit] Oh, and I cannot say for sure what TF stands for, but T is for Touring in their other lineups, F is usually associated with 4-stroke models, and they nickname the articulating rear as "Flip" so it could be that. Sorry, can't say anything else. Probably just a convenient suffix to designate the different skis and skid.

The TF was first introduced on the early nineties 485 Venture which also came with an articulated track. That machine was called the Venture TF back then.
Only comes in the silver color.
