Has anyone used them and had luck? I like the idea myself.
Any other suggestions?

I had them for a couple of years, and now have moved on to try hot grips. With the RSI heaters they were pretty warm, but after a year or so, the gel moves around to the other side of the bar, minimizing cushioning. They also started to wear and fray.
I don't know why all the manufacturers are all moving to having the heaters right on the bars, I think having them in the grip themselves, insulated from the bars is a better way to go.
Who knows though, maybe my hot grips will suck? I do know that I thought it was pretty lame that when I replaced my bars, I had to get new heaters, as the RSI grips didn't come off to well.
I did like the adjustability of the gel wraps was really nice though, being able to get the thickness that fits your hands the best is a great thing.
