rtx to xtx

What would it take to make my 08 rtx an xtx. looking at buyin a xtx skid. are the mounts the same or would some mods have to be done. i know the tunnel extention but the skid mount points is what im more worried about. did a search and couldnt find anything.

I looked into doing it that way. XTX skid mounts further back, so you'd have to change the mount points.

Why not just get tipped up 144" extensions from OFT?

You won,t get the better approach angle that the xtx skid gives you. It,s a massive improvement in flotation & top speed.

I did this a couple summers ago now. The front of the skid will mount in the stock location. You will have to make or buy a drop down bracket. It was a pretty simple swap.
