RTX Windshield?

I just stopped at a Yamaha dealer and the new accessories book came out. I was hoping they would come out with a stylish medium windshield to match the RTX but there really isn't any changes. I was wondering if anyone knows of a aftermarket company that will have choices for the 07 RTX.

yamaha has a lock on windshields thru sportech.only other place is sno-stuff and its just plain black.

Ya I was hoping to see something happen with the windshields too. I would take a windshield that is a few inches taller over my stock. I think it would work perfect for me. The wind hits me right in the neck with the stock windshield. I cant stand the look of any of the other windshields other then the stock.
I think the design of the 07 stock windshield is a little different. if i remember right, instead of the cutout in the center of the windshield it now has an extension. (does that make sense?)
I might look into an 07 windshield for now

I saw the sno-stuff windshield in a high-perf-eng mag.
that windshield pretty much looks like a direct knock off of the stock windshield.
Is there any actual difference that you know of. Besides the ribs, as they call them.
is it taller???

dont know the height on sno-stuff ( looks like a low).you might like the stock attak windshield.i know it worked great.

I talked to the Sport tech / cobra rep at Haydays and he said the snowmobile portion of their company was sold to Power Madd I believe, and when I spoke to them they said wait til OCT 06 and then some other than stock choices will come out.
He also said Yamaha got first pick (they make the OEM also) so the Yamaha accessory page may still have the best.

Sounds good. I would be interested to see what that windshield is all about.
