Does anyone make running board upgrades for the short track nytro? I have checked out the Mountain Tuff boards and Snow eliminators. They all seem to be made for the mtx or xtx. I was thinking of buying a set of the gytr tunnel reinforcements but i am not sure if these eliminate the snow build up or not. Thank you in advance.

I've been looking too. I'm convinced the Mountain Tuff boards would fit. Is there really any difference between that part of the tunnel for example between an 08 RTX and an 08 MTX?
i called and spoke with someone at sled solutions today. The guy i talked to said the mountain tuff boards would not fit a regular fx nytro. I don't know why you couldn't make them fit though. The only thing i could think of would be differences in width.

they are called better boards. call ulmer racing see if allen has some in stock for ya (1 605 387 2833)

I agree the MTX tunnel should be the same as the shorty till the extension.

Just received a set of WRPS and they do not look like they will fit my 08 rtx without some mods. Will be trying tomorrow and can let you know. It looks like the reinforcement bracket is in the way!!

The length is too long for sure but as you said its all or nothing but not sure if I want to remove my stock braces if it will not work. I see noe that sled solutions has another set on there now for nytros???

I used the sno eliminators on my shorty Nytro, they were awesome but needed just a slight trim near the back. Other then that , it was two years of good luck with them.

Just installed a pair of the Yamaha competition tunnel stiffeners tonight on my 09 rtx se....they look awesome and I think an elephant could ride the sled without bending the rails. They were a little spendy but I figured it was worth the extra money. The install is a little much though....drilling 130 holes and then riveting 130 rivets! Thank god for the pneumatic rivet gun!

the stock stiffners are good i am trying to get rid of all the snow build up on the boards. The holes plug up and thats it. Always kicking the ice off.
