Is there any way to easily stiffen up the boards on a nytro mtx? I am a big boy and they flex pretty bad when I ride.

Betterboards, AC outer-rail edges, and some sorta brace from rear of running board to the upper tunnel (ala Skinz style).
I don't have details on the AC rail edges, but those may be a good bet.
I know guys are also running solid rods down the stock Yamaha rail edges (as they are hollow)..they say that helps quite a bit too.

yeah, go down to your steel shop, and get some 1/4" cold rolled steel...and it will be square, and you will have to shave off a little to get it to fit in the outer edge...and you wont have an issue again...but definitely get some better boards also...

I contacted skinz and they sold me their brackets separately from the tunnel kit. $60 bucks for the brackets alone and they are made to fit the boards and very easy to install. I also installed WRP boards at the time of the install - not required but the combination of the 2 added a great deal of strength as i am not a small person either.

You can also special order thicker better boards. Regular one's are cut out of 1/8" and Rob said he has cut a few sets out of 3/16" for bigger riders. I just got done putting AC edges on mine and some custom fabbing on the better boards i already had. They seem pretty stiff and i can't wait to ride it!
