Running the y pipe bolts loose?

The part that anckrs to the tunnel, if i left those bolts in the tunnel loose would that help hold itvtogather or is loose with free movment better

I would tighten it up. Loose would cause too much bouncing around and probably stress the flex pipe IMO.

mech at the dealer told me he was checkin it out by not tightening those two bolts. The thought was everything is rubber mounted and has flex except where it mounts solid to the tunnel.
