Rusty plugs

Wondering how common it is for the spark plugs to be rusted? These plugs are 3 years old...

I think he means the rust on the hex? I think that is odd, considering the coils seal up the holes.

And yes, just a tiny dab of anti-seize on those threads!

Yes... I was referring to the rust on the hex. I think the business end of the plugs look OK... a little black but that was probably from running the sled for only a few minutes to get it off the trailer and into the garage. The seals on the coils fit pretty tight, so I am not sure how enough water is getting in the holes to rust up the bolts on the plugs.
 
hmmm, has your sled been sunk?
 
they look like they were soaking in water...
 
The sled has been over and through water, but never under it...
 
Anti size on the threads and I put dielectric grease in and on the coil tubes.
 
dielectric grease does not conduct, so make sure none on the end of the plug (threaded cap)

Really, I've used it for many years on every plug and connection on all my vehicles, motorcycle's,trailer and sled and never had electrical problems.
