rx-1 121" to 136" or 144"

I know this topic has been beat to death but I want to clarify before I make a purchase.

Am I correct in hearing that there is a big difference in extending a 121 to a 136 and 144. Something about the tightening of the track tension when going to a 144. Going to a 136 is fine but going the extra 4" or so in rail length to a 144 is not recommended.

I want to go to a 144 but not if there could be a potential issue or if there are multiple other modifications needed to make it work (like relocating the skid back).

In that case I will go with a 136.

Running 121-144 extensions on my turbo rx-1. 280ish hp & all is good!

what extensions (rail and tunnel) did you go with?

Did you look into full longer rails before you bought extensions? I am not sure if the extra $350 is worth it to get billet rails? But I do worry about the strength of the stock 121" rx-1 rails. I'm on my second pair.
