Forget the PM, I'll answer right here....
There is one reason and one reason alone that I upgraded to expertX suspension, and its not the superior performance..... Extension + setback DOES NOT WORK.
Due to the geometry of the suspension, compressing the suspension with the extension + setback will require that the track be able to STRETCH OUT by OVER TWO WHOLE INCHES. That just doesn't happen. If you set the track loose enough to get proper suspension travel, then it'll fall off the rails. If its tight enough to stay on the rails, the suspension won't compress.
Now use less overall extension and/or no setback, and it becomes possible to attain a balance where the track will stay on, and the suspension will work. Its still not ideal though.
