RX 1 bender turbo only 2 PSI HELP

Are the jet in the carb seems ok to you ? I find it running very lean at idle 17 or of the chart .Bigger pilot jet should fix that ? I made my own T and tested them 3 time now, no leaks I will try testing them again everything pionts to them. PILOT 17.5 MID 25 Main 132.5

There are guys running stock 135 mains at sea level in excess of 12psi w/o problems.

If you have 135 it won't hurt to try them, but 132.5's should be fine.

Skydog was a guy on here with one of the first Bender Stage 2's to go to smaller mains to get away from using real big pitot jets.

What A/F gauge are you running? I had nothing but trouble with an earlier model Innovative.

When I went to bigger pilot jets, it richened up in midrange but was pig rich at low speeds in trees and narrow trails.

Mine pops realy bad at idle but if a put the choke on about half it smoothen right out and the gauge reads 12 to 14 . So i think the gauge works ? I run a AEM GAUGE digital ? are they good ?

What do the plugs look like? Just run the sled down the lake at part throttle for a quarter mile or so and hit the kill switch.

Check the plugs and if they look ok, and the gauge is still in 17's then gauge is bad.

Also at that lean of A/F the sled should be popping thru exhaust.

Is sled popping during acceleration?

AEM is what I switched to. Definitely lean if choke helps. Check the choke boots where the choke plunger slides in and out. They have been known to leak.

I will try that . The last ride i took it seem as soon that it hit around 100 MPH thats wen it spikes fro 12 to 17 +

OK i will try that i am just putting it back together and i will check for leaks and the plugs and the spay thanks for you help

Are you running a fuel pressure gauge? If it starts to run lean at high speeds, it might be running the float bowels empty.

Benders should run 5-6 psi fuel pressure at idle. Then the fuel regulator will add approx 1 psi of fuel pressure for every 1 psi of boost.

Try and get a gauge that you can use while sled is idling. The regulator that bender uses has been known to get a week spring.

Only 3 screws holding it together with a spring and diaghram. Check for dirt. I had to turn the screw in approx 1.5 turns over the years to keep it at 5.5 or so at idle.

One more thing to check before you put the innercooler back on. The small black relay next to the fuel pump will bounce loose.

Three or 4 years ago I was getting erratic fuel pressure readings and thought the gauge was going bad. I was riding with my wife so I never ran it hard enough to empty the float bowels. Then sled started to smoke.
That relay also controls the oil return pump.

Wire tied the relay to where it plugs in and no trouble since.

I will try that. I just went for a ride it runs 10.5 to 12 tell around 95 mph by the time it its 105 it is at 17 + . i am starting to think that fuel regulator ?

For starters, speed is irrelevant. Far far more important to watch the boost gauge and to also disclose the load.. What was the boost at 10.5, 12? ... and 17!!! Were you at part throttle or WOT?
AFR related to fuel pressure that is related to boost, because of the rising rate fuel regulator.

If the AFR was drifting up from 12 and reached 17 while under WOT boost on pump gas, start looking for a replacement engine. If you were at part throttle and no load cruising, then more forgiving.
