My 2003 RX-1 is VERY hard to steer and there is a lot of "slop" in the steering when turning the handles. I seen some post on here for the RS about the front shocks being too tight but didn't know if that applies to the RX also.
Also, I hit a pretty big bump and it made my steering all wacked. I had to re-adjust the tie-rods to make the skis align with the handle bars. I checked everything to make sure it wasn't bent and didn't find anything.

If there's ANYTHING that you guys think I'm overlooking then please let me know.

Thanks.

P.S. Thanks to everyone who helped me with my clutches. Got it all together and back running :)))))))))

$50 says its a bent knuckle!!!!
Also, if you hit a bump and it screwed up your alignment, then you *definitely* have one or more bent A-arms, despite your belief that you don't -- it may not look bent with a visual inspection, but I bet that it is twisted back.

Here's what happened:

You hit something, the ski caught and the sled kept going -- that means that the ski tried to twist the whole front suspension through the knuckle. The knuckle is bent back, the arms are twisted -- clockwise if it hit on the right side, counterclockwise if on the left.

When the knuckle is bent, it will become very difficult to turn the shaft inside the knuckle. This will be especially bad if the shaft on the inside ALSO bent.

Note that there is a possibility of a broken/cracked bulkhead, but an even greater possibility of a bent main pin. These shouldn't, however, affect steering.
