My wife took her 08 Vector LTX out for the first time this weekend, she loved it. I had her switch for 5 miles so I could try it. She like the Vector because it is much quieter than my Attak. I think the 07 Rage comes with the 136" mono shock.

My wife had a 2003 RX1 and loved it. I recently sold it and now she is on a 2007 Attak. Now she really loves it!
It is a night and day difference in ride between the ProAction setup and the monoshock. The other difference for us now is the 136. I would not buy another 121.

My wife rides 03-RX1 and my 19 year old daughter rides 03-RX1 and they both love them. Next rides for them will be ATTACK'S.

bdm said:If you leave the trial, as I have been learning I have found that throttle, balance, steering, and finesse mean way more than size and strength. Look at videos of Kachess's kid, he seems small (not to imply weak) and makes the RX dance in the deep stuff. If your wife has skills they mean far more than strength. My problem was this - since I had very little seat time on anything but an RX, learning was trial by fire.
I agree, Im about 170lbs and when im in the deep powder i've learned that getting it to carve and turn is all about the throttle. forget what youve learned before and give it some gas and it will handle like a dream!

The pro action skid works very well at 136.nAVEL said:Guys - see lots of posts regarding to get a monoshock skid. How does the proaction work in a 136" track - aka: the rage? Can it be setup to be a solid groomed trail cruiser? 95% of the time we're on Ontario's nice groomed trails or lakes. The odd field, or pipeline, rail line. Mostly stutter bumps after a weekend of sled traffic. I want to make sure the skid can handle these types of bumps - if its a buckboard she'll hate it.
Opinions are apprciated!

I agree Mighty! Mine works so well the wife would rather ride the RX- 136" than the newer Apex 121"

I have a 04 warrior and my wife really enjoyed riding it, I bought her a 07 Vector with the mono skid and she LOVES it!!! Mono shock is a much smoother running skid than the old proaction. The 3 cylinder 120hp has a lot of power, no slouch at all.
