Bought my sled with these mirrors on it. Took them off when i installed my new windshield.
Looked on yamaha parts website and can't find any info on them.
Just wondering if anyone is familiar with these style mirrors and know what they might be worth.

those are not Yammie mirrors that I am aware of. On the RX and RS series the best mirrors are the venture mirrors.

well they came off my rx-1 and have YAMAHA ingraved in the bottom part of the mirror...So wouldn't that mean they are a factory accessory. On of them has a block off plate and behind it is a spot to mount a 12V outlet. I tried searching and couldn't find them anywhere. It's got me stumped.

Take a closer look at the mirrors to see if there is a part number on them and google it. They don't look like snowmobile mirrors, but like Sasquatch said, could be an ATV or motorcycle accessory.
Where exactly were these mirrors mounted? On the windshield? Hood? I installed a set of Arctic Cat mirrors that mount to the windshield this past spring. I look forward to seeing if they work well or not.

I am not sure how they work, but they are hidden a lot better than mine.
My racer status went out the window when I added my mirrors. LOL
P.S. I still love having them.

Good day gentlemen, I got my self a great deal on a 05 Rx-1. And with a new laws in the province this year I have to put rear view mirrors on the darn thing..... So I went to dealer and was going to buy a apex kit to put on Rx-1 when he told me they had some for my rx-1 specific. So I got them. Anyone here know why no one seems to talk a whole lot of the RX-1 mirrors. The apex kit seem to have a bar that solidifies the mirrors while the rx1 screw in the front cabin from what i see with no back bars to screw in. Any advice as to stick with Rx1 or get the Apex. And anyone with experience mounting the rx-1 mirrors?

That is my sled in the pic. Yes there is a bar that has the nut inserts that goes from the left to the right. Very solid. I am not familiar with the Apex mirrors. Yes they scream old man but work excellent. Getting too old to turn my head around all day.
