Same comments as above. If your coming from a touring machine this machine needs body english to keep it going fast on the trails. I've also got a Venture 600 and cannot keep up with that on tight winding trails. On the lakes with 2 ft of powder is where this machine shines. 101 mph top speed. I've added a MM700 rear cooler for running on groomed trails, machine overheated on hard packed trails.
Very happy with this machine but I don't care about the speed, I wanted a machine good on gas, no smell , and can drive it 5000 miles a year without having to rebuild the engine.
