Just brought back RX-1 from pre-season tune up. Ran fine when loaded on trailer. I installed a 2" handlebar riser. Now, it won't start. The engine cranks over, but it won't fire. Also, the instrumen panel doesn't power up either. Any suggestions on where to start. I double checked the wire connctions under the handlebar pad.

Put it on full choke and keep cranking it will start eventually. But dont crank any longer than 30 sec at a time. The gauge cluster does not light up until it starts.

Instrument panel lights up when running. Somehow it seems related to the riser install as it ran before. Did you pull any wires off the ignition? Did you short a wire somehow when installing the riser? Check the fuses! Is it in a heated garage or outside? How cold is it out?

If you cleaned the carbs keep cranking. They take a long time to fill.
