Does anyone know how similar the rx vs. the rs series is?? I am looking to purchase a 05 vector for my wife and want it to be as close as possible maintaince/parts wise to my 04 warrior. Any ideas???

Oil changes on RS sleds are MUCH easier as the filter is changeable through the bottom access panel. But uses a different filter.

In terms of chassis, they're pretty much identical, short of some stickers.
The RX sleds have the 140hp 4cyl, while the RS have the 120hp 3-cyl. The 4-cyl motors are a little harder to work on, mostly because they fill the compartment more, so clearances around it are a little tighter.
Motor parts themselves aren't very compatible, due to the 120hp's larger cylinders (both the 3cyl and 4cyl are about 1000cc).

rx vs rs
Front spindles on the vector are shorter.(Like the Apexes 06 and newer)
Rear skid in Vector different than RX, but transfers better and rides better.
Engines are different along with armor in the clutches, gearing in chaincases, carburators, and airboxes.
I've had both and there are tradeoffs to each one. The Vector is much more fuel efficient, rides better, but vibrates more. From 50-60 mph there is a vibrant frequency that you feel in the seat, bars and floorboards. If you ride under 50 or over 60 awesome sled, but my wife was always in that zone and didn't like it. Also due to vibration, Vector a little harder on bearings and clutch components. Hope this helps!!!
