2004 rx warrior front heat exchanger replacement does motor have to come out

Its a big job but it dont have to come out but you will have to remove the lower bulkhead pan... its not easy. I have seen the welded or repaired on the sled.

Welder said oils from coolant cause pin holes in aluminum. He said he has never had good luck welding them.
Whats the lower bulkhead pan?

I have had piles of them welded..maybe hes not a great welder. Pan is the bottom part of the bulk head thats riveted in about 25 to 30 rivets that hold the oil filter inspection plate.. as I said this is no easy task.

ive sent out over ten had welded on sled no issues i guess i have an exceptional welder
