Well, I can't offer any technical advise for you... only that I have been considering modding my Warrior to a more deep snow friendly model and am very curious about your progress!!! Have you done the tunnel and suspension already? I'd love to see some pictures of your project. Keep me posted man!

Don't want to burst your bubble but 151 isn't going to be exactly extreme. If I were you and I've done it, I'd go at least 162 16 if possible, the RX chassis needs all the floatation it can get. Think about slapping a set of Simmons Gen II's on there as well. Do some reading on the forum in particular Kachess's 6500 dollar thread and you'l get some good info on what it takes to make one of these work in the mountains.

Last year i extended my 04 warrior to 159" to use it in the mountains and I must say i havent regret doing that. It climbs alot better now and is alot more fun in the mountains with out getting stuck all the time.

But i need more rpms. The change from 136 to 159 is a bit too much for the stock warrior gears and I think I have to replace the gears to 20t/42t to get the proper rpms on the motor.

I´m also considering to buy the adjustable helix from Shockwave to be able to adjust the rpms when in the mountains.

I bought the Hartman 159 tunnel and 151 rail extensions and relocated the skid by 4 inches rearward. I also bought a 159 fully clipped Camoplast Crossover track and Ski-Doo 9tooth extro drivers. Beside that i also did the under tunnel exhaust.

Steering takes a little more effort due to the relocated skid. But it climbs alot better than before due to the longer track and shallower approach angle on the track. I cant wait to get the new gears and the adjustable helix. I think then it will be a lot more fun to ride the sled.

Welcome!

Geesh.............. where to start?

Wildchild rider forward mod.

162" x 16 x 2.5" camo extreme track (A used Maverick would be less than 1/2 the cost of an Extreme)

Shockwave adjustable helix - just get one

Clutch weights - something adjsutable heavy hitters, super tips, etc

Yamaha Mountain Skis/ SLP Powder Pros/Simmons Gen II

Gears - look for my post on the subject but 20 x 42 rings a bell

I put a 141" M7 skid on mine and with rail extensions I am running the 162" with a killer approach angle.

Best of luck

Frosty
