Well my new 151" mountain skid arrived today and I had a chance to place it side by side with my 121" skid. It looks like the mounting locations may be different between the W arm on the 121 and the H arm on the 151. Has anyone done this conversion before, and if so, do you have any wisdom you can share?
Thanks in advance!!!

What kind of skid did you get? I am thinking of stretching my Warrior and am always looking for guys who are doing this. Keep us posted!

I got a 151 RX1 Mtn skid. Unfortunately as you know there aren't many mountain sleds around here to take measurements off of.

A couple of months ago I stretched my 04 warrior to 151" with a kit from hartman which was pretty simple and straight forward. But I wanted to get a different skid frame so I bought a 2008 nytro mtx skid off of someone on this site and installed it. What I had to do was get the measurments from him on how the skid was installed on his nytro, so the distance from the drive shaft to the front mounting hole and the froint hole to the rear one. Then I had to make measurements on my sled but alter them slightly because it was a 153" skid but I was using a 151" track. Once I got the holes drilled I had to drill out the reinforcement brackets from the old holes and line them up and re-rivet them. I ended up reusing my existing mounting brackets from my warrior but had to modify them to work properly. I had never done something like this before so it took a little bit of time and effort on my part but I am quite pleased with how it turned out and the traction from my 151" x 1.5" crossover track is just awsome. I don't know if this helps you out at all but if you have any questions just let me know. You may have more holes to make depending on the skid frame you have, the pro-action needs 6 mounting holes in total where as the pro mountain only needs 4.
