i having problem with my top end on my o4 worrier it is cutting out on top I have plenty of fuel and my plugs are new . the plug caps are tight to . from 0 to 60 is perfect but when throttle is to the bar it cuts out. the RPMs jump from 10.5 to 10.8 i tried jetting and a electric fuel pump. I have the I am running apex cams and k and n filters with the stock horns and ported heads do you think it is the CDI box failing please help thanks

You sure you arent hitting the rev limiter?

Have you tried to bypass the TORS (ThrottleOverRideSystem)?

I suspect you are getting a Rev Limiter signal. These engines are designed to run at 10,200 RPM

what are you running for jetting. as i would think some were around 172.5 -180 would work for you the rev limeter should not even enter into it at this time as you are way below that rpm (11200) as i have been running mine over the top this year at 10800-10900 with out cuting out. so my guess would be to lean. to rich and it will just slow down . to lean and they tend to cut out at high rpm.(no fuel to burn)
