Rx1 goes 115 mph on gps

124 on radar for a warrior?? I doubt that my 03 121 stocker runs 129 on ice in a 3/4 mile run on the spedo. My buds F7 is right beside me or close behind and his spedo indicates approx 116 and has been verified by GPS. I am turning 10200 at 129.

DAVE RX1 numbers are right on!
I'm running a somewhat well set up 03 shorty HC and TEAM secondary
on an other wise stock machine. 132 is the best so far at 10,100-10,200.
Sketr2 radar gun is way off. The gun we use gets tuned b4 every day we take it out. Everytime the numbers are very consistant to what's mostly being reported on this site vs speedo.
Better get that gun fixed before you make a bet your sled can't handle. :)

Hi sketra2 if you or anyone has a rx1 of any length track running that fast stock or just modded out, without a turbo, than you must do some radar runs, cause you will take home all throphies that the club has to offer, most mod sleds in 1/4 mile only run at best 121-126 and this is mod stuff with full size chassie, not tube frames and layed down mod stuff, that kind of toys freedie ownes, and most likely would go 135-150 in 1/4 but you are looking at 300 plus hp. for that. Have your friend recheck his radar gun, seems very very fast, when your talking 136" 1.250 track to boot, and gearing is for 120 mph or less, real speed. By the way what was your speedo reading 145? 8)

Hi again otis, glad youe team is working for you too, cause mine is nice,ya i like the 54/34 54/36 keeps the rpms where i want them, most of time. Now i am using hh for the first time this year, and have them loaded up for bear, only runs 10,000 on very good going, will shoot for 10,500 as that is where i made my best runs last year,i think i can crack 120 gpsed w/ this setup and some good testing,i will let you know, heck even if batteries are not fresh in my gps it gives you bad info, but the info it gives out is much slower.

Sketra2 i dont care if yours or anyone warrior has no studs no way it is going to run that fast on top,if yours does prove it,go to official radar run or race track and post slips to prove it,and i will accept that kind of proof,i have been around sleds for many years racing and have never seen them kind of numbers from any kind of weight to ratio that the rx1s have, just dosent make sense, ask anyone who races all the time, those numbers dont add up.

It seems that the speeds vary, gun to speedo. Probably higher lug tracks would'nt be out as much. I have a shaved track with 280 picks and the speedo shows 117-119 in a 1000 feet. I figure about 100 or better. I'll try and find a radar to see how far out mine is.

Last season, with around 1200 miles on my '03 RX, I managed to get a couple decent runs on the trail with my GPS. I got to 109 and climbing (quickly) on the GPS before running out of trail, and another time got 114 on the GPS. Again, it was still pulling a little, but I ran out of trail. This year I own my own radar gun, and plan to hit the lakes. I didn't really pay attention to the speedo much...on the 114 run, it was well into the 120's, but I was concentrating on reading the small screen on the GPS (Lowrance Globalmap 100, no top speed memory...just read as you go) and trying not to climb a tree while doing it. Sled is bone stock, and I was over 250 lbs. Far from scientific, just figured I'd throw out another experience.
