Funny how theres alot less chit talk going on about the rx-ton these days over at snowest ,just alot of buzz. This time last year I'd just mention my rx-1 turbo and i'd get shut down baaad. Now I just watch and laugh!

Yeah there are a lot of Johny come latelys that are taking advantage of the work us loyalists have put in on this machine.

hi there
i added my 2 cents worth on doo talk, only to find out rx haller is in alaska. maybe you guys with the same set up as him can fill in for him.
heres the post.
rxhaller
i have not been able to see this video yet. from the comments it must be a real shot in the arm for the rx1. i think all the sleds are great now days. i am a doo loyal, my son likes his v max. you could do a lot for yamaha, if you take this mighty rx1 to the jackson hole hill climbs. to register you can call 307-734-9653 they will tell you everything you need to know to enter. and last of all go to this link www.snowdevils.org , hit the world championship snowmobile hill climb, then look at last years results. it starts out all polaris, a couple of arctic cats, but when the big boys come out to play its 95% ski doo. OH and not trying to start anything, but not even one yamaha even made mark. so here is your chance, hope to see you there.

Kerry,

Pick up a copy of the newest Mountain Mod Mania or try attending the Big Iron, or Fairview Shootouts. I don't recall seeing many DOO's near the front.

The Jackson Hole Hill climb hardly represents any kind of normal mountain riding. If it is I would like to see the DOOs that you say rule this event put on the same miles I and many others will put on with our turbos this year in the mountains.

The infamous Climbax puts hundreds upon hundreds of miles on his turbo every year and does a good job of putting the hurt on 2 strokes that cost twice as much (or more) and only leave the trailer to make a couple runs up a hill and then are rushed back in the trailer before they blow.

Show me a Doo that cost the same as my sled or less, is as reliable and that can beat me and I will gladly tell the world. :moon:

you know somebody has got to have one at jackson hole this year.Pinball wizard and a few others guys here have shown you can get it down it weight., and we know with engine work and turbo this thing goes bigtime.

Man if I had another ten grand to throw at this thing hell I would drive to Jackson and enter myself     :4STroke:

Hardcore, It's always fun to watch the videos of Jackson because of all of the crashes. I think that is also why a lot of people don't enter.

Do you really feel like Jackson is a good measure of a sled? I am no Jackson expert, but I have always felt that it is not much of a measure of a sled and more of a test of a riders luck and ability to hold on for dear life.

I agree Spray, Jackson is a real technical course so its all has to do with luck and rider skill then the sled. Would just be nice to see a rx show up and ok. Its like the last frontier for the rx :D :D  :4STroke:

we need a "turboed 4 stroke rules" icon
