anyone know if 05 rx1 front ohlins will work on a apex? 17.5 inch center to center, and bolt holes look ok , what about spring rate and width of mounting surfaces? if they are not right can they be modified? i gotta know!!

RX1 OHLINS ON AN APEX

They are probably a little long to run as is. Mounts are the same, valving is a little stiffer than the comparable Apex/Vector version. Springs are the same 2.3kg. I like to run 2.8kg on the GT. Do you own them yet? They can be moddified to the proper length inexpensively (under $100), but you will lose a little up travel as the bodies are 10mm longer. Changing the bodys will add time/labor and about $90 more in parts.
