WE HAVE AN 03 RX1 THAT CAME IN YESTERDAY .
PROBLEM IS THAT AFTER RUNNING UP AND DOWN A FIELD A FEW TIMES, THEN GOES BACK TO THE SHOP, STOPS MOTOR. WE SMELL OIL BURNING, LIFT HOOD OIL BURNING SMOKE COMES UP FROM THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE MOTOR LOOKS LIKE BACK DOWN IN THE EXHAUST AREA.
DO NOT KNOW OF ANY AREA OIL COULD LEAK THERE.
AS WE CAN NOT SEE DOWN IN THAT AREA, EVEN WITH A FLASH LIGHT. ANY ONE HAVE AN IDEA WHERE THE OIL COULD BE COMING FROM.
COULD USE SOME HELP ON THIS ONE.
HE PUT 75 MILES ON IT LAST WEEK END WITH NO SMELL OR SMOKE.

Oil burning
I would check the valve cover gasket. It might have pushed out on the right side towards the rear allowing oil to run down the back side of the head onto the exhaust pipes. If the crankcase vent line gets plugged, the crankcase pressure can push this gasket out causing a leak.
