I've adjusted the rpms on my rx1 so that darn rattling noise in the gear reduction would stop.. I've now noticed when cold the more wide open the choke is the higher the rpms. Is this normal till it v warms up or am I over looking something??
Normal but to prevent plug fouling I bring the choke down gradually until it runs with no choke. When starting a hot engine you will find it starts better if you give just a bit of throttle while cranking with no choke of course.
