rx1 will not idle

i recently bought a used rx1 with 2300 miles and the thing either idles real high, or idles real low. when i adjust the idle up the motor races up high and then after a while it will idle way down like 800 rpms and it acts like it is missing. but i just changed the plugs and still does. i am new to the four stroke. so can anyone help me out with this? thanks scott

carbs

pilot jets need to be cleaned or replaced and balence the cards after cleaning the carbs

I agree with Black John- carb jets need to be cleaned, it should be that simple!
